How will my order ship?
We will ship your order using the fastest, safest, most reliable method possible. We have established strong relationships with some of the best shipping companies nationwide. The particular delivery method for your order has been selected to achieve the optimal delivery experience for you. Once your order ships, we will send you the tracking via email. We encourage you to track your package online. Most companies will provide an estimated delivery date. Be sure to contact us if anything seems unusual with the progress of your shipment.
We ship free nationwide to the 48 contiguous United States. We do not have arrangements to ship to Alaska. Hawaii or Puerto Rico. We cannot ship internationally or to P.O. Boxes or Military APOs.
Under MOM's free shipping policy, we provide two methods of shipment: Ground or Self Service Curbside Freight.
We will ship small packages and items that are packed flat via FedEx or UPS Ground. Depending on how close you are to the shipping warehouse, your order will arrive between 1 and 6 business days after it leaves the warehouse.
Self Service Curbside Freight
Items that are too large or heavy to ship FedEx or UPS are shipped via Freight Delivery. Freight delivery differs from FedEx or UPS Ground in that it is scheduled by appointment. Once the shipment reaches your area terminal, a representative will call you to set a 2-4 hour delivery window. Most freight companies schedule delivery appointments between 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. Metropolitan areas, such as New York, may require residential deliveries to be set midday, 10:00-2:00, to avoid traffic.If your shipment is designated for Freight Delivery, your items will be delivered to the end of the driveway or curb outside your address. It’s “Self Service” because you will need to move the packages off the truck yourself. You may want to arrange to have a friend or family member on hand to help. Any additional services, such as two-man delivery, inside delivery, lift gate or address change are not included in the price of the freight item. You may purchase these additional services for a fee.
In Home Delivery
In home delivery options are offered for our larger furniture items. These services extend beyond what is provided under MOM's free shipping policy. Surcharges apply. Some pieces require this additional care in handling. In home delivery surcharges will be clearly displayed on the home pages of these items. We offer two in home delivery options, Standard and White Glove.
Standard in Home Delivery provides for placement of the items inside the threshold of your home or building.
White Glove Delivery includes placement of the item in the room of your choice, unpacking, assembly and bundling of the packing debri. Please be aware that the extra care involved with White Glove shipping and deliveries may extend shipping times 1 to 2 weeks beyond the standard transit time.
Please make us aware of any special requirements needed to gain access to your residence, such as, but not limited to: spiral staircases, ferry transportation or freight elevator appointments. - Once the shipment reaches your area terminal, a representative from the shipping company will call to set a 2-4 hour delivery window. Please make sure you have provided the best contact number at checkout.
- Many of our carriers offer additional services for a fee. You can may inquire and make those arrangements when they call to schedule delivery.
- Damage Inspection: Please make sure that you inspect the packages at the time of delivery. If the box has any damage, or if there is any reason you are concerned with its packaging or delivery, please write, "Product Damaged" clearly on the sheet the delivery agent asks you to sign and note dent, rip, crushed corner, etc. This simply ensures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem. Failure to sign a delivery receipt as damaged and/or with missing parts removes MOM's Bunk house and the delivering carrier from any liability.
When will my order arrive?
Every product on our site has an estimated lead-time, the number of business days it takes for an item to be processed and prepared for shipment at the warehouse. In order to provide our customers with the greatest selection, we ship from warehouses all over the country. Each lead-time varies based on several factors. Some warehouses stock items that can be shipped the same day or within 24 hours. Others items require a longer processing time (e.g. 2-4 weeks). Each product page on our site includes the estimated lead-time, "Ships in ________ " to give you an idea how quickly your order will leave the warehouse.
For Ground shipments, delivery usually takes between 1 and 6 business days after your order is picked up from the warehouse. Call us if you have any questions or concerns.
For Truck Freight shipments, delivery usually takes between 3 and 6 days from when your order ships. For residential deliveries, you will be contacted for an appointment as soon as your order arrives at the local terminal. For commercial deliveries, no appointment will be made. If you need to make one, please contact us.
For White Glove shipments, delivery usually takes between 1 and 4 weeks from the time the items leave the warehouse. Your order will travel through a nationwide network of professional moving companies who will handle your item(s) with the utmost care. You will be contacted for a delivery appointment when your order reaches the delivery agent. Although the items are handled carefully throughout transit, we require that our shipments undergo a thorough inspection by the agent before delivery. We take extra steps to make sure your item is delivered in perfect condition.
In an effort to keep your costs down, our pricing simple and to avoid any surprises at checkout, MOM’s Bunk House provides FREE SHIPPING to the continental United States on all orders totaling over $99. The price you see in the shopping cart is the price you pay with one exception: Items shipping to Texas are subject to sales tax.
Beware of companies who mask their shipping charges and surprise you with prohibitive shipping and handling fees or oversize charges at the end of the checkout process. Make sure you are comparing apples to apples when shopping around, including all shipping and handling.
